About
Find Your Own Trail.
Most trekking companies sell you a package and manage you along it. We would rather you understood the route — the ground, the weather, the altitude, what it asks of you — and then decided.
Where we work
Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Twenty-seven routes, from two-day walks in the Dhauladhar to expedition ground in the Garhwal. The range is deliberate: it means you can start on Nag Tibba or Triund and, if you want to, keep going with the same people until you are on a technical objective.
How we write our guides
Every published guide carries the day-by-day itinerary, an honest difficulty assessment, fitness benchmarks you can measure yourself against, month-by-month weather, permits, and a real packing list. We would rather you arrived prepared than merely enthusiastic.
We are writing them one trek at a time. Where a guide is not finished, the page says so instead of pretending otherwise.
Who we are
Needs your inputFounder name, background and years in the mountains. Send me this and I will write the section properly — I have not invented a founder story, because a fabricated one is indistinguishable from a real one to anyone reading it.
Safety and group sizes
Needs your inputMaximum group size, guide-to-trekker ratio, guide qualifications, and what you carry for altitude emergencies. I have deliberately written nothing here: anything stated on this page is a promise made to someone before they walk at altitude, and it has to be your numbers, not my guess.
Leave No Trace
We carry back all non-biodegradable waste, stay on marked trails, avoid disturbing wildlife, minimise campfire use, and respect the customs of the villages that host us. The Himalaya is not a resource we are spending — it is the reason any of this exists.
